By Representation

This page is an in-progress masterlist of the site for those looking more broadly for rarer representation, listed under subcategory in age-target order, and then alphabetically by author last name within. As the majority of queer lit is about thin, white, cisgender, non-disabled gay or lesbian characters, those are not listed here; just look at any of the other pages to find them. Intersectional representation is coded with colored text:

Has a main character who is of color and/or Indigenous
Has a disabled main character (sensory, chronic illness, and/or a limb difference)
Has a disabled main character (mental health issue and/or is neuroatypical)
Has a main character of a marginalized religion
Has a main character who IDs as fat and/or plus-size

A title with multiple colors has characters with more than one of those characteristics. Where a single character is of both marginalized gender and orientation, it is explicitly noted. In cases of rarer representation, books where the love interest (but not main character) fits, even if they do not have a POV, as long as they are prominently featured; this is noted with (LI).
