Today on the site I’m delighted to welcome back Jes Honard and Marie Parks to reveal the cover of Undeniable, a paranormal thriller with an asexual MC and the second book in the Grigori Cycle, as well as the new cover of Unrelenting, which was originally revealed here! First, here’s the story behind Undeniable, which releases October 28th from Not a Pipe Press:

Jes Honard (they/she) is a queer sci-fi/fantasy writer and professional coffee inhaler. Their co-authored debut, Unrelenting, won several awards, including the New Mexico-Arizona Book Awards LGBTQ title. It was also a finalist for the Book Pipeline Unpublished Manuscript Competition. Jes has also published short stories and poetry in several anthologies, including the Lesbians in Space anthology and Antifa Lit Journal, Vol. 1. Jes finds their best words when writing about found family, queer identity, and what happens when we build bridges instead of walls. They currently live in Kalamazoo, MI with their wife and two cats.

Marie Parks (she/her) is a queer fantasy author living in New Mexico, where she hikes, goes camping, and eats copious amounts of green chile. In addition to winning multiple awards for Unrelenting, Marie was a finalist for the Futurescapes Award for Most Promising New Author for her social justice fantasy heist, Flightless (Shadow Dragon Press, 2026). Marie also received a 2025 New Mexico Writers Grant to support her next writing project. She is the founder of Sandia Starforgers Writers Retreats and Workshops and is a panelist for conferences such as Dragonsteel and WriteHive. She’s delighted by the birds at her feeders, the veggies in her garden, and asexual representation anywhere in the world.
