Today on the site I’m delighted to welcome back RoAnna Sylver, to reveal the cover of the third book in the Chameleon Moon series, Call the Storm, backable starting October 1, 2026 for publication in March 2028! Here’s the story:
The storm of the century is coming. It’s been ten years since the fires below Parole were set ablaze, never to be stopped. Its people–superhuman, terrifying, innocent, beautiful–have spent that time quarantined behind energy barriers, struggling to survive against a militarized police force, and now the city’s begun to Collapse into its forever-fire.
Parole has reached a breaking point. Its population is even more desperate, and Eye in the Sky more vicious. The barriers are fraying, holes opening, letting smoke out and clean air in, and raindrops–and hope.
Something’s going to give. Instead of fire, a tidal wave is building. If anything at all is going to be okay, they’ll just have to ride it out together.
